Tournament Categories
- 100 Men’s – Maximum of 2 participants from a company.
- 100 Women’s – Maximum of 2 participants from a company.
- 200 Men’s – Maximum of 2 participants from a company.
- 200 Women’s – Maximum of 2 participants from a company.
- 400 Men’s – Maximum of 2 participants from a company.
- 400 Women’s – Maximum of 2 participants from a company.
- 100X4 Relay Men’s – Only 1 team from a company.
- 100X4 Relay Women’s – Only 1 team from a company.
Rules & Regulations
Sprint Rules
- Start: Sprint events commence with a whistle or a starting command. Sprinters use starting blocks for a solid starting position.
- False Starts: A false start occurs if a sprinter starts before the whistle or a starting command.The first false start results in automatic disqualification.
- Lanes: Sprinters must remain within their assigned lanes throughout the race.Running outside the assigned lane may lead to disqualification, except in specific circumstances.
- Finish: The first athlete whose torso reaches the vertical plane of the closest edge of the finish line is the winner.
Relay Rules
- Start: Relay events involve a team of runners passing a baton in designated exchange zones. The starting commands and procedures are similar to sprint events.
- Exchange Zones: Baton exchanges must take place within specified exchange zones. Leaving the exchange zone too early or entering it too late may result in disqualification.
- Disqualification for Early Start: A relay team can be disqualified if a runner starts before the preceding teammate completes the designated distance.
- Team Composition: Relay teams typically consist of four runners, each covering a specific distance.
- Disqualification for Rule Violations: Any rule violation during a relay, such as improper baton exchanges or lane infringements, may lead to disqualification.
- Post-Race Conduct: Runners should leave the track promptly after finishing their leg of the relay to avoid obstruction.
Natana reserves the right to modify or interpret the competition rules as deemed appropriate. Teams or companies may face disqualification for violations of the outlined rules or any misconduct towards the audience, judging committee, or organizing committee.
